Before you dive into your Imagined Future practice, jump over here to understand how and why this BeMo Extra practice works.

Disclaimer: I did this Imagined Future entry as an end-of-year ritual. You’ll read it as the end of 2023. And no, that isn’t a typo. As discussed above, writing your Imagined Future in the present tense is integral to the practice.

I can’t believe it is the end of 2023 already. We had anticipated a year that was truly out of our control in wild and uncomfortable ways – thrown about by economic changes. Thankfully this wasn’t the case. I’m not sure we really noticed or even minded. Instead, we both came into our own even more than this last year.

We certainly started the year off with so much more positivity and understanding than we had at the start of 2022. I am proud of us for that. I am grateful we each had a career focus.

This year, I was able to publish my first book. I found a wonderful literary agent. I’m already off to the races with writing my second one. I also released a full line of base BeMo products. Utilizing my own renurturing journal to continue in my healing practice has been something I am most proud of. I now have a journal I will keep forever as a story of everywhere I’ve been and the healing I now have from it. I’ve filled it with photos and stickers. I love it.

Of course, it isn’t all work. Pardon me for always starting there. I just had to describe that first because our hard work finally allowed us a chance to move into a home with a yard. I love gardening in my own space. Isa loves to be outside for hours every day, so I end up writing a lot from there.

Overall, I loved that we weren’t unnecessarily busy. We gave ourselves plenty of breaks, entropy, and things to look forward to. But most of all, we cooked together, we enjoyed great movies, and we went on 100 or more hikes. It was an amazing time together.
