If I wrote Christmas letters, this would be it.

Dear friends and family,

As we reflect on the past year, we can’t help but feel grateful for the adventures, milestones, and growth we’ve experienced together. It’s time for our annual Christmas letter, and we’re excited to share our journey with you.

Isa, our beloved four-legged companion, turned 2 this year, and he’s been quite the jet-setter! He embarked on his first flight to Washington DC with his favorites, Matt and Hannah. Later, he hopped on another airplane, this time to Detroit, accompanying our friend DH on a business trip and exploring the Hemingway history along the shores of Michigan Lake.

Our travel bug continued to thrive as we ventured to Universal Studios, Disney World, and the Gulf side of Florida – Stark’s first time to all and my return after two decades! Later in the year, we travelled to Scotland for a remarkable family history tour. I meticulously planned the journey (no surprise there), which included driving the entire ring road around Scotland, reminiscent of our epic trip to Iceland two years ago. We also crossed another destination off our bucket list by exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia in both Chile and Argentina, joined by our adventurous legit and chosen family – Matt and Hannah. We even made it to Uruguay for an amazing day trip before leaving South America.

I have been pouring my heart and soul into my self-care and mental health business – BeMo. It’s been an incredible year for BeMo, marking its first anniversary in business moving from MVP to an amazing, luxurious product, complete with a guide to The BeMo Practice and several key features for identifying and working with emotions and needs. The feedback received is overwhelmingly positive and my favorite part of this journey so far has been the surprising amount of feedback and personalized stories on how individuals, families, and couples are using BeMo to break through healing their personal narratives.  This year, I’d like to say my dedication to creating new products and spreading awareness for her small business online has been unwavering, but these stories from others are what keep me going when those start-up vibes are far too overwhelming.

Stark, always the man of many talents, has been deeply involved in various passion projects alongside friends and business partners, spanning from Michigan to Texas. He’s rekindled his love for travel, crisscrossing the country and leaving Isa and me to discover new mountain hikes that we’re eager to show Stark when he arrives back home.

As we enter into this New Year, we’re filled with excitement and anticipation – feeling like years of living in limbo, knowing that something great is at the brink of existence, perhaps this year we are finally there and will discover that 2024 is filled with change, growth, and inspiration. Our family goal of buying or building a new house within the next year is drawing closer, promising new beginnings and cherished moments.

Thank you for being a part of our lives and sharing in our adventures. We look forward to the joy, love, and togetherness 2024 brings and can’t wait to see what this year has in store.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

With warmest wishes,

Stark, Caz, and Isa
